Despite the Cardinals starting 1-5 record, rookie quarterback Josh Rosen is still optimistic about the future of his team: "I think that the positive of this whole situation is the fact that we are a really good football team not playing very well as opposed to a not very good football team playing to its absolute potential. Hopefully, we're at our floor and there's only up to go from here as opposed to having a low ceiling and being right at it.”

Wilks 'majorly' concerned by Cardinals' offense

Arizona has yet to gain 300 yards in a game this season, topping out at 269 in a 27-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, which dropped them to 1-5.

The Cardinals' offense again didn't produce enough to get a win, losing 27-17 to the Minnesota Vikings on the road. Quarterback Josh Rosen was sacked four times but running back David Johnson had just 55 yards on 18 carries, as well as a touchdown but it wasn't enough to overcome 195 rushing yards from the Vikings.

The Minnesota Vikings beat the Arizona Cardinals 27-17 and cover the final spread of -9.5. Game goes just over the total of 43.5.

The Cardinals' offense should be giving every one of their defensive teammates a hug in the locker room at halftime down just 13-10. Without them, Arizona would be looking at a long second half. The defense had three sacks, including a scoop-and-score, and two turnovers.

Cardinals inactives: QB Sam Bradford, WR Kendall Wright, WR Trent Sherfield, RB T.J. Logan, OL Blaine Clausell, OL Korey Cunningham and DE Ifeadi Odenigbo.

The Arizona Cardinals have a 35% chance to land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, per FPI, by far the highest chance of any team.

Rosen overcomes struggles as Cards get first win

While he didn't play nearly as badly as last week, Josh Rosen struggled at times after throwing a 75-yard touchdown on Arizona's first play from scrimmage against the 49ers.

Cardinals beat 49ers 28-18 for 1st win of season

Josh Rosen threw a 75-yard touchdown pass to fellow rookie Christian Kirk on Arizona's first play from scrimmage and the Cardinals used five takeaways to get their first win by beating the San Francisco 49ers 28-18 on Sunday.

Josh Weinfuss ESPN Staff Writer

The Cardinals' first win of the season wasn't pretty but it was a win nonetheless. Arizona topped the 49ers 28-18 despite running almost half the plays as the Niners and having the ball for less than half the amount the Niners did. There are still significant issues Arizona needs to address on offense but the defense was able to fight off fatigue to secure the win with 5 turnovers.

Josh Weinfuss ESPN Staff Writer

Other than the 75-yard bomb of a touchdown from Josh Rosen to Christian Kirk on Arizona's first offensive possession, the Cardinals haven't been on an offensive -- or defensive -- tear against the Niners but they still lead 14-6 at halftime. The Cardinals' defense is again struggling against the run and screen passes while the offense finally regained its footing late in the second quarter.

Cardinals inactives: QB Sam Bradford, RB T.J. Logan, DE Markus Golden, OL Jeremy Vujnovich, OL Blaine Clausell, OL Korey Cunningham and DT Robert Nkemdiche.
