The Colts got some good news at practice, as receiver T.Y. Hilton (chest/hamstring) was a full participant Wednesday. Safety Clayton Geathers (concussion/neck) and defensive lineman Margus Hunt (knee) were also a full participants.

Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton, who has missed the past two games, returned to practice Wednesday to test his injured hamstring. I asked Hilton if he could play at less than 100 percent and he said his "less (than 100 percent) is better than a lot of people.” The Colts have missed Hilton, as they have 13 drops over the past three games, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

The injuries continue for the Colts. Receiver Ryan Grant is out the rest of the game due to an ankle injury.

The Colts have basically been handing the Jets points. New York has scored 17 points off three Colts turnovers to take a 23-13 lead at halftime. It's not that the Colts aren't forcing any turnovers. It's that they haven't taken advantage of them. The Colts have only scored six points off two Jets turnovers.

The signing of safety Mike Mitchell earlier this week was put into perspective for the Colts on Friday when coach Frank Reich announced that safety Matthias Farley will be placed on injured reserve. Farley left the Oct. 4 game at New England with a hamstring injury. The other players ruled out of Sunday's game at the New York Jets are WR TY HIlton, TE Jack Doyle, DL Denico Autry, S Clayton Geathers, DL Margus Hunt and OL Denzelle Good. TE Mo Alie-Cox is being elevated from the practice squad to the 53-man roster to take Farley's spot

The Colts were without some key starters not named T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) and Jack Doyle (hip) in practice for a second straight day Thursday. DL Denico Autry (hamstring), TE Eric Ebron (shin/quad/ankle/knee) and OL Ryan Kelly (calf) did not practice. S Matthias Farley (shoulder/groin/wrist) and DL Margus Hunt (knee) also didn't practice. The good news for the Colts was that CB Nate Hairston (ankle) and LB Anthony Walker (concussion) were full participants. LB Darius Leonard (ankle) and S Clayton Geathers (concussion/ankle) were limited participants.
