Barnwell Show: Robert Mays talks Bears, Rams

Bill is joined by Robert Mays of The Ringer to discuss the Bears returning to the postseason (2:11), what's ailing the sliding Rams (20:10) and the Eagles' prospects without Carson Wentz (31:37). Plus, the guys play "guess that offensive lineman"(39:28)!

Are Eagles better off with Wentz or Foles at QB? (1:08)
Pederson proud of how the Eagles block out 'outside noise' (0:39)
Goff has tough game as Eagles edge Rams (1:40)
Clark on Eagles: 'They rally around Nick Foles' (0:44)
Goff falls dropping back then throws INT (0:56)
Long says Eagles can beat anybody (0:54)

Nick Foles leads the Eagles to an improbable win. Of course. A 30-23 thriller over the Rams keeps Philly's playoff hopes alive (its odds of making the postseason jumped to 34 percent) and adds intrigue to the close of the 2018 season. Carson Wentz could be shelved for the rest of the year with a fracture in his back. Foles has a chance to stir the city's imagination once more.

No Carson Wentz, no problem, as Nick Foles again stepped in, this time leading the Eagles to a 30-23 upset of the Rams in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

This might not get to the root of what has been going on, but I found it interesting regardless: Since Cooper Kupp went down in Week 10, the Rams' 3rd-down percentage has gone from 45.3 to 32.6. Kupp — a crisp route runner with sure hands and great field awareness — was Jared Goff's most trusted 3rd-down option for a reason.

The Eagles showing a little swagger with the Super Bowl MVP back under center. Nick Foles goes 9-of-14 for 112 yards, as the Eagles and Rams head into the break tied at 13-13. Foles pushing the ball downfield and looking very comfortable after a long layoff. His teammates are responding.

Adams runs in for Eagles' TD (0:26)

Alshon Jeffery has four catches for 87 yards in first half — his most yards in a game since 10/21 against the Jags. Nick Foles feeding No. 17, and it's working.

Nick Foles 3-of-4 on his first drive for 19 yards. Mix of run and pass gets the Eagles into field goal position, take early 3-0 lead on Rams.

Biggest need at this point for CG Technology sportsbooks is the NY Giants. CG Technology Vice President of Risk Jason Simbal says that he's expecting a big liability on the Philadelphia Eagles, too.
